Allianz Global investors has appointed Frederik Rubens as Director, Business Development, The Netherlands. Rubens’ key role will be to grow and intensify relationships with existing and prospective institutional investors in the Netherlands, with a focus on private market strategies. In this segment of Alternatives investments, AllianzGI is market leader in Infrastructure Debt with AuM of over EUR 17 bn, and has recently launched its first Infrastructure Equity fund, raising close to EUR 800 m.
Frederik joins AllianzGI Benelux business development team based in Rotterdam from NN Investment Partners (formerly ING IM), where he was responsible for servicing Dutch institutional clients for the last 13 years, and will report to Tim Soetens, Head of Business Development BeNeLux.
